A Visit w/ the Gibbons'!

We were lucky to have Tami, Julie & Matthew stop by, from VA. We had fun walking across the Purple People Bridge, walking along the river, visiting the Cincinnati Zoo, walking into town for pizza & ice cream and hanging out with eachother. Ellie loves her Godmommy & Godbrother!

A Family Weekend @ Home!

We enjoyed waking up late & hanging in our PJ's w/the kiddos. Then we had a day in Newport @ the levee, visiting the aquarium & goetta fest!

Ellie has taken to her new role as "big sister" like it was second nature. As soon as she wakes up she goes and talks to Ty, he smiles and laughs at her, and she turns to tell us "he loves me." She is so helpful! She sings him "twinkle twinkle little star" when he is fussy, she helps put his binky in when he wants it, and she thinks she can hold him by herself (even though she only outweighs him by 9 lbs!) Ty stares at his sister admiringly and she eats it up with a spoon. We could not be more blessed than to have two children that love each other so much. We'll see how the teen years go?

An Indy Weekend!

A weekend in Indy...enjoyed swimming at Aunt Susies, visiting w/Grandma & Grandpa, slip & sliding w/the Brandenberg boys & attending the Moran Family Reunion!

Ellie & Ty's 1st Reds Game!

We were happy to have Tracy & Jeff come visit us. We decided to attend the Reds game that featured MCHammer! Jason was super stoked about his concert, but we had to head home early b/c the kids & I were exhausted.





We loved seeing the fireworks on our walk back over the bridge to Newport.

The next day we walked into town for Mio's pizza & beers. We seemed to wear Ellie out again!

Family of Four!

We're adjusting well, with the help and prayers of our family, friends & neighbors. We've been blessed with many great gifts, dinners & visits!
